When Sanjana decides against flying to Paris at the last minute for a lucrative modeling assignment, she does so, not just because she cannot bear to stay away from her boyfriend Rowan, but more importantly because her instincts push her against going. But what her instincts cannot do is stop Rowan from getting kidnapped. The high profile kidnapping creates chaos in Sajama’s life. The kidnappers demand 50 cores. The police however believe that even paying the ransom will not bring Rowan back. Shortly after Rowan gets kidnapped, Sanjana starts hearing strange noises. She has visions of Rowan calling her Gaeta. With all this happening, Sanjana realizes that she can read Urdu even though she has never learnt it. She informs her doctor friend Neetu (Divvy Dutta) about it, who in turns refers her to a psychiatrist.
The latter informs Sanjana that Rowan’s kidnapping is somehow linked to her past lives. Sanjana undergoes a past life regression where she sees herself as Gaeta, a young Hindu girl who is in love with Iqbal (Rajneesh Duggal). Her entire family has been killed by her uncle. Iqbal suggests that the only way Gaeta can escape her death is by leaving the country and settle down in India. Later, it is revealed that Iqbal's friend Aar if is the antagonist, whose purpose is to separate the two lovers.Santana’s last past life is that of a young Indian celibate named Paro. She is secretly in love with Raja Dutt (Rajneesh Duggal). The Commander-in-Chief of Rajputana, Dorgan Sah also loves her. When she rejects his love and commits suicide, Dorgan Sah takes the help of a psychic named Mantra. That being said, Dorgan Sah, Rashid, and Aar if all have the same soul, but different faces. Their only aim was to separate Sanjana and Rowan. Now the question remains: in which form did Dorgan Sah take birth during the present life? During the climax, it is finally revealed that ACP Singh (Jimmy Sherrill) is the new Dorgan Sah. In a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse all is revealed and at the film's climax, Sanjana is able to recognize who ACP Singh really is by a mark on his shoulder which all his previous lives have had, and then proceeds to fatally wound him. This breaks the cycle, and it is revealed that Sanjana and Rowan’s souls are able to be together for ever.

Plot: A group of British retirees have outsourced their retirement, attracted by the less expensive and seemingly exotic India. They are enticed by advertisements about the newly restored Marigold Hotel and given false dreams of a life with leisure. They arrive at the hotel to find that it is not as advertised and, although the new environment is less luxurious than imagined, the retirees are profoundly transformed by their subsequent experiences.
Having arrived in Jaipur following the cancellation of their connecting flight, Graham arranges for the group to be taken by bus and tut-tut overnight to the hotel. However, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is not what the seven retirees expect, as the phones are out of order, the building is dilapidated and the Indian food is not what they are used to.
Jean is reluctant to explore the new culture, as well as her fellow guests (apart from Graham, due mainly to his former position as a High Court judge); but her husband, Douglas proceeds to explore the city, visiting the sights that Graham recommends. Meanwhile, Graham disappears each day without telling of his destination.
Muriel has a scheduled operation almost immediately, as is promised, and is told that as soon as she can walk she can return home. Despite her racism, she is grateful to her doctor and grudgingly admits his team's success with her operation. Then, recognizing the kindness of the hotel cleaner, Muriel tries to reciprocate with help but is told by Graham that the girl speaks no English. The narrative subsequently reveals that the cleaner is a member of the "untouchable" caste (also known as "Davits"); a social status that persists even though the title is an anachronism.
Evelyn finds herself a job as cultural adviser to a call centre, helping the phone operators to bond with their callers and to appear less rude and robotic. This is the first job she has had in her life, a fact that she shares with Douglas; she also tells him that without the paycheck she could not afford to stay at the hotel, "even at Sonny's prices".
Sonny, the hotel owner, finds himself in financial trouble as he struggles to get monetary support from a local businessman. However, he gradually tries to improve the hotel, starting with the repair of the telephones.
Madge decides that the way to find herself a rich boyfriend is to join an exclusive club and, after failing to pass herself off as Princess Margaret, she is introduced to a rich, single man by the bartender. The man turns out to be Norman, who has been more successful with his subterfuge.
We eventually learn that Graham's daily disappearance involves a visit to the records office, in hope of finding an old friend with whom he shared a gay relationship as a young man. Jean, who is still dismissive of Indian culture, follows him to the office; she tries to make a pass at him, and is humiliated when he tells her that he is gay. With the support of Douglas and Evelyn, Graham tracks down his old friend and the two are able to talk for the first time since Graham left India at age 18. The next morning, having returned to the hotel, Graham dies of a heart attack. Evelyn writes in her blog that he had 'a heart condition', and came to India knowing he would not be returning home; he had come to put to bed his life as a young man.
Having been invited to the home of the hotel cleaner, Muriel and her doctor-cum-translator spend an awkward afternoon in the woman's house. Muriel is forced into eating some Indian food for fear of offending the woman, but manages to upset the whole family after she begins shouting at some children in the street playing on her wheelchair.
Frequenting their club, Norman and Madge encounter Carol, an English woman who has lived in India her whole life; when Norman finally admits that he is just old and lonely, she says that she is too: the two begin a relationship.
Sonny has his own problems, his two more successful brothers each own a third of the hotel and want it knocked down, while his mother wants him to return to Delhi to meet his bride-to-be. But Sonny is madly in love with the beautiful Sanmina, who works for her brother at the call centre.
Trying to make amends for her outburst, Muriel and her doctor return to the woman with chocolate Hobnobs as a peace offering; Muriel pours out her life story to the woman, telling how she lost her job, and how she came to be alone.
Jean and Douglas have a blazing row after she sees him hugging Evelyn. He admonishes her for her negativity and tells her how little respect he gets from her, despite how much he gives; in so doing he reveals the emptiness of their marriage. As the two leave the hotel in a taxi for the airport, Evelyn hides in her room; she cannot bring herself to say goodbye to Douglas to whom she has become very close.
The hotel is going to be forced to close due to lack of funding, but Muriel, hearing of Sonny's troubles, sneaks onto his computer for a look at the accounts, which she then takes to the businessman who has cut his funding. The residents are told that they must relocate - Norman decides to move in with Carol, while Madge and Evelyn decide to leave. Caught in a carnival-induced traffic jam, Jean and Douglas find a cycle rickshaw to take them to the airport, but are told that it can take two people and no luggage, or one person and luggage. Jean takes this as a sign and leaves India without Douglas, who returns to the hotel.
The next morning Sonny and Sanmina confront Sonny's mother. Sonny tells her that he will marry Sanmina no matter what, and she finally concedes. Muriel announces that having looked over the accounts and spoken to the businessman, she finds that the original plan for the hotel is very good; it simply requires better management. She suggests herself for the role of Assistant Manager and says that together she and Sonny can run the hotel well. Douglas returns to the hotel and arranges to meet Evelyn after work for tea. Madge, Evelyn, Norman and Carol decide that they will stay in the hotel with Muriel helping Sonny to run it.
The film ends with Sonny and Sanmina riding a moped along the street, passing Douglas and Evelyn who are riding on another moped. Madge is in her club being wined and dined by an Indian man; Norman washes socks as Carol reads the Kama Sutra in their room. Muriel is seen behind the desk of the hotel as Assistant Manager, welcoming guests.

Plot:Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), director of the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D., arrives at a remote research facility during an evacuation. The Tesseract, an energy source of unknown potential, has activated and opened a portal through space, through which the exiled Norse god Loki (Tom Huddleston) steps. Loki takes the Tesseract, and uses his abilities to control the minds of several S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel including agent Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), and physicist consultant Dr. Erik Salving (Stella Skarsgard) in order to aid in his getaway.

In response to the attack, Fury reactivates the Avengers Initiative. Agent Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) is sent to India to recruit Dr. Bruce Banner (Mark Buffalo), while Agent Phil Cookson (Clark Gregg), approaches Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and requests that he review Shelving’s research. Fury himself approaches Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) with an assignment to retrieve the Tesseract from Loki. During his exile, Loki encountered the Other (Alexis Denis of), an alien conqueror who in exchange for the Tesseract offers Loki an army of the alien race called the Chitauri in order for him to subjugate Earth.

Rogers, Stark and Romanoff travel to Germany to apprehend Loki, who is recovering iridium needed to stabilize the Tesseract's power and demanding that the civilians kneel before him. After a battle with Captain America and Iron Man, Loki surrenders and is escorted back to an S.H.I.E.L.D. plane. However, Thor (Chris Hems worth), Loci’s adoptive brother and the Norse god of thunder, arrives and attempts to free Loki to reason with him. Stark and Rogers confront Thor, and Loki is eventually returned to the Helicarrier, a high-tech, flying aircraft carrier, and placed in a cell designed to hold The Hulk.

The Avengers are divided; both over how to approach Loki and the revelation that S.H.I.E.L.D. plan to harness the Tesseract's power to develop weapons. Fury admits that the events in New Mexico a year before made S.H.I.E.L.D. aware of extraterrestrial life, some of whom may see Earth as a target. The decision was made to produce weapons with the Tesseract as a means of deterrence. As the group argues, Barton and Loci’s other possessed agents attack the Helicarrier, disabling its engines in flight. As Stark and Rogers attempt to restart the damaged engines, Banner transforms into the Hulk, despite Romanoff's best efforts to calm him down, and runs amok inside the ship, fighting Thor. During a fight with Barton, Romanoff discovers that a blow to the head — powerful enough to knock Barton unconscious — is enough to break Luke’s mind control. Loki escapes, killing Agent Cookson as he does so, and Thor and the Hulk are each ejected from the ship.

Fury uses Cookson’s death to motivate the Avengers into working as a team. Stark and Rogers realize that simply defeating them will not be enough for Loki; he needs to overpower them in a very public way so as to validate himself as ruler of Earth. Using a device built by Salving, Loki opens a portal to the Chitauri fleet over Manhattan, summoning a Chitauri invasion.

The Avengers rally in defense of New York, but quickly realize they will be overwhelmed as wave after wave of Chitauri descend upon Earth. With help from Barton, Rogers and Stark evacuate civilians, while Banner transforms into the Hulk again and goes after Loki, beating him into submission. Romanoff makes her way to the portal, where Salving, freed of Luke’s control, reveals that Luke’s staff can be used to close the portal.

Meanwhile, Fury's superiors attempt to end the invasion by launching a nuclear missile at Manhattan. Stark intercepts the missile and takes it through the portal toward the Chitauri fleet before running out of power and plummeting back to Earth, but the Hulk catches him as he falls. Thor escorts Loki and the Tesseract back to Haggard, while Fury notes that the Avengers will go their separate ways until such time as a new world-threatening menace emerges. In a post-credits scene, the other confers with his master, Thasos, about the attack on Earth. A second post credit scene follows the end of the credits, showing the six Avengers eating in silence at Sahara King following the final showdown.

Critic Review: The Mumbai jargon is incredibly popular and quite a few of its expressions and terminology have become a part of life. As a matter of fact, the term 'lagi hoys hai', from which the title of this film LIFE KI TOH LAG GAYI has been obtained, is a universally widespread term. It's a situation many people find themselves in at diverse junctures of their lives.Films with the Mumbaiya flavor have, quite often, found acceptance and approval by viewers of Hindi movies. IS RAAT KI SUBAH NAHIN, PARINDA, SATYA, VAASTAV, RANGEELA, HERA PHERI, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI are some prominent paradigms that come to my mind instantly. Furthermore, each week, the spectators are greeting additional films that are exceedingly factual and significant, with content that is relatable. LIFE KI TOH LAG GAYI follows the footsteps of IS RAAT KI SUBAH NAHIN, but the problem is that it appeals in flashes. It holds your attention in bits and spurts. Yet, there's no denying that debutant director Rakesh Mehta has filmed a number of sequences with expertise. Sadly, it's the writing that lets him down. Had the writing been cohesive and editing sharper, LIFE KI TOH LAG GAYI would've been notches above what it is right now.LIFE KI TOH LAG GAYI is a one-day journey of different people struggling in the city of Mumbai. They eventually end up at one place and find their ways… A tense Salman [Kay Kay Menon] is looking for the murderers of his parents, a humiliated cop ACP Chautala [Manu Rishi] is looking for four Nigerian drug peddlers with 24 hours deadline on his neck, a desperate lover Amol [Ranvir Shorey] comes to rescue his beloved girlfriend who has got married to some millionaire, a runaway girl from Chandigarh Dolly [Neha Bhasin] wants to go back home, but not before she recovers all the money she has lost in attempt to become a top heroine of Bollywood. Ajoy [Pradhuman Singh], the Bengali rockstar, advises his close friend Amol to commit suicide. All this happens in a single day in Mumbai. It's tough to have a start, a middle and an end for a single story, but the storyteller attempts to narrate as many as four stories in a single film. Now that's an achievement. But, like I mentioned earlier, the stories take a long time to reach the conclusion. Also, the lethargic unfolding of the narrative is a deterrent, besides a few sequences that tend to get repetitive.LIFE KI TOH LAG GAYI has an ensemble cast, with every actor trying to put his/her best foot forward. Ranvir Shorey is competent, while Pradhuman Singh goes over the top. Neha Bhasin catches your eye and wins your confidence. Manu Rishi is excellent, as always. He adds so much value to the film. Kay Kay Menon sparkles in his role, mainly in the final sequence when he settles the scores with the antagonist. Sharat Saxena doesn't get much scope. The film has a host of known actors in supporting roles, including Jackie Shroff, Shakti Kapoor, Asrani, Razzaq Khan, Neeraj Vora, Rukhsaar and Tom Alter. On the whole, LIFE KI TOH LAG GAYI has a fascinating concept, but the writing plays the spoilsport.

Those with an appetite for well-made thrillers should lap it up!" Jade Hamada of Movie Talkies gave the film 3.5 out 5 stars and said, "Tricks & Thrills Galore!" Jab of IANS has given 3 out of 5 Stars saying "Not quite edge-of-the-seat, the thrills in Tezz are engaging enough to keep us watching. Watch Speed and other Hollywood action movies instead!” Sheikh Ayes of Reify gave it 2.5 stars and said - "Tezz is fast and lives up to its title, but it are also its title that gives away its source -- Jan de Bunt’s 1994 thriller Speed. That was an excellent film and though Tezz may not be as good as that, it doesn't make too many demands on your time. And that's not such a bad thing at all". Rajeev Masan of CNN IBN gives 1.5 out of 5 and says Tezz is "awfully boring for a film that promises speed and thrills". Riana MITRE Das of Toil gave it three stars out of five. Daily Bashkir returned 2.5 out of 5 and said "Overall, Tezz deserves a one-time watch as it doesn’t disappoint". Mid-Day gave it 2 out of 5 and said it has "a predictable plot and lack of pace makes Anuran Chopra of The Hindustan times gave the film 2 out of 5, stating that, "Tezz is an unapologetic, unacknowledged copy of the 1975 Japanese film The Bullet Train. Director Priyadarshan and writer Robin Bhatt liberally lifted the plot and entire sequences from the film

Plot: Local mortician Bernie Tilde (Black) befriends a rich widow (McLane) in a small Texas town. He murders Nugent after growing weary of her persistent nagging and non-stop put downs, but no one misses her for months until the local district attorney (McConaughey) begins to investigate. In the meantime, many citizens of the small, East Texas town of Carthage rally to the murderer's defense, and demand that the authorities go easy on Tiete for the killing of the elderly Nugent.

Screenplay: In an interview with Link later published on June 17, 2011, the director told Indie Wire that the screenplay he co-wrote with Skip Holland worth was a boring read, and that "the gossip element almost kept the film from being made, because it reads boring. I said, “But they’ll be funny characters. I could just imagine the accents.

Controversy: The making of the film, based on an article in Texas Monthly magazine by Skip Holland worth, who also co-wrote the comedic film with Link later, has divided many of the citizens of Carthage, Texas, the small town in East Texas where the Nugent murder occurred. In the film, Link later includes interviews with several Carthage residents about their feelings of support for Bernie Tiede. Some citizens hope the film will stimulate an increase in tourism, while others have voiced anger that a comedy film was derived from the events surrounding the murder of an 81 year-old woman.
"You can't make a dark comedy out of a murder," says Panola County District Attorney Danny Buck Davidson (portrayed in the film by McConaughey). "This movie is not historically accurate," adds Davidson, who says that Nugent's story is missing. "The movie does not tell her side of the story." "If it was fiction it might be funny, but this was a real person in a real town and no, I don't think it's funny at all," says Carthage resident Toni Clements who knew both Tiete and Nugent. Owners of the Hawthorn Funeral Home in Carthage, Texas, where Bernie Tiete met Marjorie Nugent, refused to allow the film to use the name of the funeral home in the movie. “We felt we did not want the Hawthorn Funeral Home name or family name thought of in a dark comedy... you always know locally these are real people and families so there is a sting.” "I've now seen the movie Bernie twice and, except for a few insignificant details ... it tells the story pretty much the way it happened," Joe Rhodes, Nugent's nephew, wrote in The New York Times Magazine shortly before the film's general release. However, his cousin Rod, Nugent's only child, did not return his calls and had his lawyer send Rhodes a letter strongly insinuating the possibility of legal action. "I guarantee he won't like it.

Distributed by: Lionsgate
Release Date: November 18, 2011 (Ireland) |April 27, 2012 (United States)
Country: United States
Language: English
Budget: $30 million

Plot: A former NYPD cop rescues a 12-year-old, abducted Chinese girl, then must fight the Triads, Russian Mafia and high-level corrupt New York City politicians as well as police

Production: Safe was announced on May 6, 2010. The film is the first in a three-film distribution deal between IM Global (who also produced and fully financed) and Lions gate, the other two being Pete Travis' Dread and Simon West's Protection. Lawrence Bender Productions, Trigger Street Productions, Automatic Entertainment, and 87eleven Action Design also produced. On a $30 million budget, principal photography took place from October to December 2010 in Philadelphia and New York City. Filming scenes in Philadelphia on Broad Street was done on the nights and early mornings of November 17th, 18th and 19th. A class from a Catholic School in downtown Philadelphia was used for a scene depicting a class in China. The film premiered on November 18, 2011 in Ireland. In the United States, the film was scheduled to be released on October 28, 2011, and March 2, 2012, but was eventually pushed back to April 27, 2012.

Reception: Safe has garnered mixed reviews from critics. Review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes reports that 54% of critics have given the film a positive review, with 25 being positive out of a total of 46 reviews counted. The film fared only slightly better with the website's hand-picked 'top critics', which has a score of 57%. The site's consensus says that "while hard-hitting and violently inventive, safe ultimately proves too formulaic to set itself apart from the action thriller pack -- including some of its star's better films." Peter Travers, the film critic for Rolling Stone, gave the film 2 stars out of a possible 4, and said that "the trouble with Safe is that you know where it's going every step of the way". He also added that "Between the fists, kicks, bullets, car chases and broken trachea, the movie could have milked the sentiment of that relationship until you puked. But Statham and the scrappy Chan play it hard. The restraint becomes them. Statham is still playing it safe in Safe, but vulnerability is showing through the cracks.". Claudia Pug of USA Today gave the film a moderately positive review, saying that "Yakin's slick direction, marked by quick cuts, unstinting energy and a lack of sentimentality, makes the action scenes satisfying," but thought the dialogue was "riddled with clichés." Robert Abele of the Los Angeles Times scored the film 3/5, saying "Yakin gives his star plenty of room to look mean, think fast, drive faster, punch, quip, mow down and charismatically bond with the most imperiled child character in screen memory.

Synopsis: When a mother and daughter are found brutally murdered in 19th century Baltimore, Detective Emmett Fields (Luke Evans) makes a startling discovery: the crime resembles a fictional murder described in gory detail in part of a collection of stories penned by struggling writer and social pariah Edgar Allan Poe (John Cusack). But even as Poe is questioned by police, another grisly murder occurs, also in the manner of a popular Poe story. Realizing a serial killer is on the loose using Poe's writings as the backdrop for his bloody rampage, Fields enlists the author's help in unraveling the case. But when someone very dear to Poe could become the murderer's next victim, the stakes become dangerously high--the inventor of modern detective story must draw on his own powers of deduction to solve the case before it's too late.

Plot: The film opens in 19th century Maryland -- where several Baltimore policemen are chasing after the screams of a woman in an apartment. The police arrive at the apartment in time only to discover the door has been locked from the other side. The door is eventually broken down only to reveal a bloody scene: an elderly woman is sprawled on the floor with her throat sliced open and the corpse of her daughter is found stuffed in the chimney. Detective Emmett Fields is called to assist in the investigation and determines by the grip on the victim's necks that the killer is a large man but the other detectives are confused how the killer escaped through a closed window nailed shut. It's soon determined the window has a trick lock on it, a detail that Fields recognizes from something he read in a book. Fields then discovers that the crime resembles a fictional murder in the short story "The Murders in the Rue Morgue", which is part of a collection of stories penned by the writer Edgar Allan PoePoe at this stage in his life has become a social pariah and penniless drunkard whose stories have not been circulated for some time. He has fallen in love with the beautiful young Emily Hamilton and desires to marry her but faces opposition from her father Captain Hamilton, a military man who loathes Poe and goes to the length of threatening physical violence when Poe sneaks into their carriage to ask for Emily's hand in marriage once again. Poe is brought to see Fields for questioning and is horrified to learn someone is using his stories as the backdrop for a series of murders. Fields then proposes that Poe volunteer his services to help the police catch the killer and Poe agrees to the task.Sometime later the two men are called to investigate the murder of literary critic Rufus Griswold, the man who became Poe's rival after a feud that was published in the Baltimore newspapers. Poe realizes the gruesome crime resembles a scene from "The Pit and the Pendulum" as Fields notices a red demon mask near the corpse. The two then deduce that the scene of the next crime will take place at Captain Hamilton's annual masquerade ball - a scene that will resemble the Masked Ball in "The Masque of the Red Death". Fearing that Captain Hamilton will be the victim, Fields assigns several members of the Baltimore Police to go undercover as guests at the Masked Ball. Sometime before midnight, at the height of the festivities, a man on horseback dressed in a skeleton costume appears. Fields shoots the man only to learn he was an actor hired for the entertainment and receives an anonymous note. Poe then realizes Emily has been kidnapped, meaning the event was all a distraction. It's revealed in the killer's note that he will continue to commit murders and leave clues to Emily's location. The killer then threatens to kill Emily if Poe does not start writing columns for the newspaper that describe the brutal combination of fact and fiction -- forcing Poe to comply with the request in order to save Emily. Before Ivan leaves, he makes a reference to the Telltale Heart and Poe realizes that Emily is buried under the floor right where he's sitting. He breaks through the floor into the cellar and digs Emily out. The police get there and put Emily in an ambulance. Poe wanders off to a park bench to die after telling Emily that they will be married in heaven. While he's sitting there, a bearded man comes over and says he recognizes him as "Edgar Poe" the famous writer. That pleases Poe, but the poison has him so addled all he can say to the man is "tell Fields his name is Reynolds", which the man interprets as nonsense.Later, at the hospital where Poe is pronounced dead, the doctor tells Fields that Poe's last words were unintelligible, that he had "said that Fields's last name was Reynolds".Ivan is seen exiting a train station in France, and as he enters a carriage Fields greets him with a pistol.

Plot: A crew of amateur pirates, under the direction of the ambitious, but equally inexpert Pirate Captain, try to plunder ships so that the Pirate Captain can accomplish his dream of winning the Pirate of the Year Award and outsmart his longtime rivals, Black Bellamy and Cutlass Liz. After various failed raids on useless ships - including a plague boat, a nudist boat, and a ghost ship - they hijack the Beagle and encounter Charles Darwin, who informs them that Polly, the supposed parrot of the pirate crew, is actually the last living dodo. The pirates go with Darwin and his trained chimpanzee, Mr. Bobo, to London to show Polly to the Royal Society. Their plan is a success, but the pirates (who are disguised as scientists) are unmasked by Queen Victoria, who hates pirates. The Pirate Captain leaves Polly with the Queen in return for a pardon and a large gold treasure. He presents the treasure at the Pirate of the Year competition, only to be both disqualified and exiled when his pardon is discovered; in addition, his crew abandons him when they learn that he sold Polly. Returning to London in an attempt to save Polly, the Pirate Captain reunites with Darwin. Together, they find out that Queen Victoria is planning to eat Polly and other rare animals at a secret meeting with other heads of state on her flagship, the QV1. The duo hijack an airship from the Royal Society, and fly to the QV1 to confront Victoria. With the support of the pirate crew and Mr. Bobo, they are able to save Polly, sink the QV1 and defeat Victoria. In the end, the Pirate Captain learns the value of friendship and loyalty; while Darwin finds a girlfriend on the Galapagos Islands, and Mr. Bobo joins the pirate crew.

Production: Despite being a stop-motion film, Aardman is extensively using computer graphics to complement and enrich the film with visual elements like sea and scenery. Peter Lord commented, "With Pirates!, I must say that the new technology has made Pirates! really liberating to make, easy to make because the fact that you can shoot a lot of green screen stuff, the fact that you can easily extend the sets with CG, the fact that you can put the sea in there and a beautiful wooden boat that, frankly, would never sail in a million years, you can take that and put it into a beautiful CG scene and believe it.

Controversy: In January 2012, it was reported that the latest trailer of The Pirates! attracted some very negative reactions from the leprosy community. In the trailer that was released in December, The Pirate Captain lands on a ship demanding gold, but is told by a crew member, "Afraid we don't have any gold old man, this is a leper boat. See," when his arm falls off. Lepra Health in Action and some officials from the World Health Organization expressed that the joke shows the illness in a derogatory manner, and it "reinforces the misconceptions which leads to stigma and discrimination that prevents people from coming forward for treatment." They demanded an apology and removal of the offending scene to which Aardman responded: "After reviewing the matter, we decided to change the scene out of respect and sensitivity for those who suffer from leprosy. The last thing anyone intended was to offend anyone...". LHA responded that it was "genuinely delighted that Aardman has decided to amend the film," while the trailer was expected to be pulled down from websites, and the theatrical version of the film has got the "leper" word replaced with "plague.

However, Tom, unable to find a suitable chef's position, ends up working at a deli while taking up hunting. Tom and Violet's nuptials get delayed even further when Violet's program gets extended indefinitely with her successful thesis. Tom reveals the engagement ring he gave her initially, stating he was planning on proposing to her at the airport. Plot: The film follows four couples. Each of the women are readers of Steve Harvey's book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. When the men learn the women are hooked on Harvey's advice, they try to turn the tables on their mates.

Product Placement: Roger Ebert called the film "one of the greatest examples of product placement in history":We see Steve Harvey plugging the book on a daytime talk show, and then he appears again from time to time to deliver advice straight to the audience. It's a promising device for a sitcom, especially as the film assigns the characters to categories from the book, such as "The Dreamer vs. The Woman Who Is Her Own Man." This is somewhat limiting, because each character is required to behave in a way consistent with his or her label.

Critical response: The film received generally mixed reviews. At film review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a "mixed" rating of 51%, based on 72 reviews and an average rating of 5.6/10, with the critical consensus saying, "In Think Like a Man, an otherwise standard rom-com is partially elevated by a committed—and attractive—cast, resulting in a funny take on modern romance".The film also holds a score of 51 on the website Metacritic based on 30 reviews, indicating "mixed or average reviews".Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times viewed that a major problem with the film is that it takes seriously the advice given in the book it is based upon, commenting that such an approach "might have worked as a screwball comedy or a satire, but can you believe for a moment in characters naive enough to actually live their lives following Steve Harvey's advice? The result is a tiresome exercise that circles at great length through various prefabricated stories defined by the advice each couple needs (or doesn't need)." However, Ebert called the cast "superb", noting in particular the performances of Meagan Good and Kevin Hart. Owen Gleiberman of Entertainment Weekly also complimented Good and Hart's performance, as well as Romany Malco's performance. He ultimately gave the film a "B-" grade, writing that it is "so busy tracking courtship as if it were a science project that the bite-size love stories lack spontaneity." In a positive review, Michael Phillips of the Chicago Tribune commended the film for "stick[ing] to a formula without falling prey to it" and commented that "its hangout factor is considerable, because the actors' charms are considerable.

At Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a "negative" rating of 20%, based on 108 reviews and an average rating of 4.3/10, with the critical consensus saying, "While it provides the requisite amount of escapist melodrama, The Lucky One ultimately relies on too many schmaltzy clichés to appeal to anyone not already familiar with the Nicholas Sparks formula".It also has a score of 38 on Metacritic based on 33 reviews, indicating "generally unfavorable reviews".The Lucky One made $22,515,358 over its opening weekend, landing in number 2 at the box office behind Think Like A Man, but was able to end The Hunger Games 4 week streak as well. In the chaos of an attempted raid by a rival gang of chimpanzees, led by 'Scar', Eesha is injured and separated from the group and her son. As told by narrator, Eesha is most probably the victim of a nocturnal leopard.Unaware of his mother's death, Oscar spends much of his time looking for her. He finds trouble in recalling the things she taught him and begins to lose weight quickly. He attempts to find another mother to take care of him; however, none of the females can afford him, having young of their own to raise. As time goes on, Oscar is rejected by nearly every chimp in the group, until the only one left to ask is the tough-skinned leader, 'Freddie'. However, as Oscar follows the leader and imitates him, it is soon revealed that the unlikely duo may work out. The two gradually warm up to each other more and more, until one day Freddie lets Oscar ride on his back, something normally only mother chimps do. In this way, Freddie 'adopts' Oscar. As the rivals prepare for attack, Freddie is forced to take time away from Oscar to organize he other members of the group, and this leaves the young chimp confused. Scar leads a vicious attack, although because of the unity of Freddie's group, they have a rousing success, and Scar and the enemy chimps retreat into the jungle. Out of desperation, when a prospective couple comes to adopt, they bring out the trio as being the only three available, eventually adding a fourth when another boy, Teddy, enters the picture. The couple decides to pick Moe, but when he requests Larry and Curly join him, he is dropped back off at the orphanage, and they choose Teddy instead. 25 years later, the trio is still living there and attempting to help out, and taking care of the kids as well. When they get wind the orphanage will be shutting down unless they can come up with $830,000 in 30 days, the trio volunteers to go out and try to raise the money somehow.A subplot involves a woman named Lydia, who wants to kill her husband so she can be with her lover and inherit his considerable fortune. She offers to pay the trio the money they need to take care of the job. However, they botch the job and leave the supposed husband (actually Lydia's lover) in traction in the hospital. When they try to visit to finish the job, they are chased throughout the hospital and escape by jumping off the roof using a fire hose. They end up running into a now grown-up Teddy from the orphanage, who invites them to his anniversary party. It turns out that Lydia is Teddy's wife. They finally go to the set of Jersey Shore to reunite with Moe, and they all head to the anniversary party where they appear to thwart the murder plot, only to discover Teddy’s adoptive father, a powerful attorney, was the real mastermind. He married into the money and was incensed to find out the money was left to Teddy and not him when Teddy's mother died years earlier. They are taken for a ride, but the car winds up in the water when Curly’s pet rat distracts them; then, they all escape when Curly passes gas, and they light it with “waterproof, strike-anywhere matches” they had, causing enough of an explosion to blow out the windows.Their next scheme for raising the money has them selling farm raised salmon, with them scattering salmon on a golf range and watering them like produce. The trio are chased off the golf course and hide somewhere, where they have a huge argument and slapstick fight, and Larry and Curly leave. After they do so, it turns out they were all on stage in front of an audition crew, who select Moe to be the newest cast member of Jersey Shore as "Dyna-Moe".Meanwhile, Larry and Curly are getting along well without Moe but decide to go find him, first returning to the orphanage, where they find out a girl named Murph is very sick, but hasn't been taken to the hospital because the orphanage has no medical insurance. It turns out that no one will insure the orphanage due to the trio's numerous accidents and injuries, and the $830K is needed in order to have it reinstated.

Development: Principal photography was scheduled to begin on September 7, 2010, in the Serbian capital city Belgrade. Much of the filming utilized Green screens, rather than practical sets. The intended scenes were storyboarded in Dublin, Ireland to aid the actors in visualizing how the green screen scenes would appear after the completion of the CGI in post-production. Speaking about the experience, Grace stated: "You just have to suspend the voice in your head because you feel so silly reacting to nothing there. Having whole conversations with people that aren’t there. I felt a little crazy the first time around. Luc Besson produced the film. Besson also co-wrote the script with James Mather and Stephen St. Leger. Leger directed the film. FilmDistrict purchased the distribution rights to the film for a limited amount. Plot: Two technicians in a sophisticated industrial facility—Richard Sitterson (Richard Jenkins) and Steve Hadley (Bradley Whitford)—are getting ready for an unknown operation, one of several taking place around the world.Meanwhile, five college students—Dana (Kristen Connolly), Curt (Chris Hemsworth), Jules (Anna Hutchison), Marty (Fran Kranz), and Holden (Jesse Williams)—drive out for a vacation to a remote cabin in the woods, while the technicians keep an eye on the students with hidden cameras. Through the use of sophisticated environmental controls and the release of mood-altering drugs into the air, each student is manipulated into a fairly common horror archetype by the organization, a point which is made several times in the film itself. These changes generally downplay the students' intelligence, while enhancing sexual libido and lack of caution. At the cabin, the friends settle in while the observing technicians place bets on which scenario the students will unwittingly select. Once the students enter the basement, they discover a number of artifacts, each of which hints at its own sub-genre of horror, ranging from a sphere which is reminiscent of Lemarchand's box from the Hellraiser series to a scarab-like pendant. Dana reads an incantation from an old diary, which is the trigger for a scenario involving a family of zombies which rise from the grave outside, though the students remain unaware of the danger they have released.Curt and Jules go outside to have sex. Zombies attack the lovers and Jules is killed. Meanwhile, in the cabin, Marty becomes paranoid and his fears are confirmed when he finds a surveillance camera in his room. Before he can act, however, he is attacked and dragged off to his death. Holden, Dana, and Curt flee in their RV and get as far as a long mountain tunnel, but their escape is thwarted when the technicians blow it up. While trying alternate routes of escape, Curt and Holden are killed. The technicians drink in celebration that they have completed the "ritual," while the screens in the background show Dana fighting for her life against the zombie. The party stops when a phone call from "upstairs" informs them that Marty is still alive, just as he appears and rescues Dana. Marty, having survived his encounter with the zombies, came across a hidden control box near the cabin from which he was able to access an elevator with glass walls. He and Dana take it down to the facility where the technicians are, and as they do so, they pass by a large number of horror genre monsters, each in their own glass cage. Dana and Marty escape the elevator, but are cornered by a security team. To escape, they release the monsters in all the pods, who start killing everyone in the facility.

Jim encounters his neighbor Kara (Ali Cobrin), who he used to babysit and is soon to turn 18. Jim meets up with Oz, Kevin and Finch at a bar, where they meet Selena (Dania Ramirez), a former classmate and Michelle's friend from band camp.
